In 1975 a dream came true and I bought my first Amphicar. In 1978 I became a member of the Berlin Amphicar - Club e.V. and bought my 2nd car in the same year. Because of this  passion I have owned 8 of this cars totaly. Today I own 3 of them. One car has been bought in 1980 and is still unrestored and in his original condition in use. The second of these three cars which I have bought in 1983 has been completely restored by myself. My third car has been bought also in  1980. I wanted to have it only for getting spare - parts. However slowly but surely my wife will get it because she think that she have to restore it - and she does it.                                                           With such a women we have a lot more fun with our  cars.                                                                        So we spend our Holydays with these cars.
